The objective of the Industrial Estate Programme is to contribute to the promotion of industry and to assist investors in finding suitable locations along with the necessary services for their businesses without having to incur heavy start-up costs associated with factory construction. The programme makes a positive contribution to national development by creating employment, enhancing export capabilities for foreign exchange earnings and encouraging local entrepreneurs.

The AID Bank through its Industrial Estate Programme is responsible for the Management of the Industrial Estate.

Dominica's Industrial Estates are located at Canefield and Picard.

All services needed to operate a modern manufacturing concern are either provided by the Estate Unit or are easily accessible to tenents of the Estates.
