The main functions of the Legal Division
- counseling the Bank to ensure compliance with the Dominica Agricultural Industrial and Development Bank Act and other legislation;
- providing legal services in all areas of the Bank’s activities;
- advising on the legal status of applicants and conditions of loans and equity subscriptions:
- overseeing the proper preparation and completion of all loan securities;
- advising on and interpreting the Bank’s policies, procedures, guidelines;
- advising on all legal questions relating to the organization, administration policies or operations of the Bank and arrange for the Bank to be represented in litigation, arbitration or other legal proceedings on matters in which the Bank has an interest.
- Representing the Bank in all matters before the Courts, and administering oaths from time to time.
